The SS 23 collection, more than in the past, represents an 'ode' to each day, to each blank sheet of paper one writes while living everyday life that can also be made more pleasant thanks to a touch of beauty. Each creation in the Vic Matie collection has indeed been conceived and designed to bring a unique and timeless touch of design to every outfit. No concession to volatility, because every accessory is meant to be an object to be purchased and to be kept in one's wardrobe for years, without ever losing its charm and value. This is why even the most "normal" shoe is distinguished by unmistakable lines and details, designed to protect the simplicity of the elements. In keeping with tradition, the brand celebrates its strongest yet still feminine soul with a line of sandals featuring an ultra-light maxi midsole, in a range of bright and fresh colours, with colour-coordinated uppers, also in an "all-over rubber" version with Velcro strips, and with the new wedge that is extra in volume but mini in weight. Another must-have is the “Wave” flatform trainer, lightened by micro-perforated leather or satin uppers in bright colours with absolutely contrasting white soles. An ultra-light rubber sole distinguishes the new “Donut” line: sandals and flat- soled shoes featuring rounded lines that delicately fill the room as if occupying a living space of their own, accompanied by uppers in soft nappa leather either ruched or hand-woven in a geometry of knots. Instead, for the most feminine and glamorous part, a new heel with a sinuous line acting as a pedestal for a "doughnut" effect sole entirely covered in leather or satin, in perfect harmony with the "nude" or net uppers made of skilfully knotted mini-nappa leather. In contrast, the new "Flare" plateau is all about oversized volume and flared lines, counterbalanced by extremely charming models with delicate details. Similarly, the accessory collection interprets the innermost soul of the brand, its being feminine but unconventional, sophisticated and also irreverent, cool but timeless, through its best sellers and several new designs that are unique and multi-tasking.
