VIC MATIĒ INTRODUCES THE SPRING/SUMMER 2026 COLLECTION
FEMININITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP ARE CENTRAL TO A VERSATILE, SOPHISTICATED AND
CONTEMPORARY COLLECTION.
Vic Matiē presents the Spring/Summer 2026 Collection: a project that combines
femininity and craftsmanship to create a refined and contemporary style. The
collection is designed for dynamic women seeking unique yet effortlessly
wearable items. It blends style and practicality by using fine materials,
expertly crafted volumes and artisanal techniques. Soft natural hides are
combined with metallic laminates and python details, featuring updated galvanic
finishes and customised accessories. The colour palette blends neutral tones
with vibrant hues like orange and turquoise, achieving a balance between
elegance and character.
The Vic Matiē Spring/Summer 2026 collection is centred around four stylistic
themes, each expressing a unique perspective on contemporary femininity. At the
heart of the design is a self-aware, dynamic woman striving to find a balance
between character, wearability and identity.
The journey starts with Il Quotidiano, a universe that captures the true essence
of everyday life while maintaining personality and style. The focus is on
closed-toe styles, which are designed for cross-selling and are also suitable
for markets with cooler climates. Ballerina flats and flat sandals, featuring
two carryover best sellers, have been reinterpreted with new materials and
details, highlighting the four main design elements of the collection: fringes,
pom-poms, metal plates and minimalism. These are complemented by a new
protagonist, the moccasin coming in a classic version or with fringes,
constructed with a slip-on design and rubber sole, designed to combine comfort,
style and versatility.
The fussbett is also back, both in a sabot and sandal version, with handcrafted
details and uppers in split leather and bleached buffalo leather, perfect for
those looking for authenticity and comfort. Texano, which has become a hallmark
of the brand, has been revisited with lighter volumes and is available in three
versions: the iconic embroidered model, a basic ankle boot for entry level and a
boot with fringes for a strong visual impact. The Drop structure completes this
section featuring a 50 mm heel, reinterpreted in a closed version and now also
as a sandal, for a versatile elegance that appeals to a more mature audience but
with contemporary taste.
Next, Universo Femminile, exploring the most sophisticated and ironic aspect of
the collection. Undisputed star is the new 35 mm Kitty heel, perfect for
accompanying women throughout the day. This new model is available in both
closed and slingback versions and features decorative elements like bows and
metal plates. In parallel, the Apostrophe heel revamps the classic Slash heel
with a more modern and sleeker line, maintaining the same height and adding
models of understated yet undeniable elegance. The refined T-bar, the ankle boot
with asymmetrical fringe and a new generation of sandals stand out, including
versions featuring pom-poms, sabot flip-flops and an open toe slingback already
singled out as a trend topic. All models express a bold, sophisticated yet
accessible femininity.
Mondo Gomma on the other hand, embodies the most innovative and sporty spirit of
the collection. The new Block wedge, made in TR Light, introduces a lightweight
yet visually solid technical solution, thanks to compact volumes and a porous
texture that enhances its contemporary appeal. The structure is hand-finished
with leather inserts and includes '70s-inspired and urban fashion models.
Alongside this boxy sneaker, a sporty-chic model designed with a meticulous
attention to detail ensuring both style and comfort. Fringes, bows and exquisite
materials such as perforated leather lend a unique identity even to the more
traditional styles, enhancing the balance between sportiness and elegance.
The story ends with the universe of Icons and Carryovers, where the consolidated
meets the new. The V14 structure, a Vic Matiē best seller, is back in a summer
version with models lined in canvas and washed split leather, inspired by an
urban safari style. An interesting new addition is the ballet sneaker, a hybrid
between a sneaker and a ballet flat, which comes in white, red and black for a
bold and contemporary colour block effect. The Running D22, crafted from
breathable mesh, a symbol of performance and coolness ideal for the hot season,
has also been reconfirmed.
In perfect harmony with the footwear world, the bag segment is developed as an
independent yet integrated universe, thanks to the use of shared materials such
as split leather, canvas, python and common craftsmanship techniques. Iconic
bags like Penelope, Serra and Abigail have been updated with new colours and
materials to perfectly complement the mood of the collection. In addition to
these, five new families Claudia, Il Borsone, Wangari & Giselle, Anita and
Virginia feature structured shapes, decorative details like tailored pleats, and
versatile transformable solutions. All designs are available in large and small
sizes and can be adapted to any need, ranging from the most casual to the most
formal occasions.
The Vic Matiē Spring/Summer 2026 collection showcases the vision of a brand’s
commitment to evolving while remaining true to its values. Craftsmanship is more
than just a detail; it is a reflection of identity. Likewise, femininity is not
a cliché, it encompasses a variety of interpretations. A sophisticated and
versatile collection that embodies style and substance designed for women who
appreciate quality, character and beauty in every detail.
